Oatmeal Shampoo has incredible benefits for dogs who have itchy skin but its hard to know which one to buy. If you are a crafty dog-mama, here’s a homemade Dog Oatmeal Shampoo Recipe we would recommend:

Supplies:

1. 4 Cups Warm Water

2. 1 Cup of Oatmeal

3. 1 Cup of Baking Soda

4. 1 Teaspoon of Dishwashing Liquid (Dawn works great!)

5. Mixing/Dilution Bottles from Beauty Supple Store or Amazon

Directions:

1. Grind the oatmeal into a fine powder

2. Add the baking soda and oatmeal into a bowl and slowly stir in water and liquid dish soap

3. Pour the mixture into your empty bottle

4. Shake well before using

5. When you use this shampoo, always remember to lather and rinse thoroughly!
